Thre is a blues band gig list is maintained on a monthly basis by Glenn 
Govier of the NY/NJ Blues Collective. This is a Yahoo Group. You can find it 
at:

The April schedule should be out in a couple of weeks. Remind me and I'll 
send it to you.

Here is a list of blues jams in the NYC area as of Feb 23. I haven't been to 
many of them, but I can tell you that Big Ed runs his jams very well. Also, 
Hoboken is an easy trip from NYC by the PATH train, so you may want to 
consider the Scotland Yard jam as well.
